Radyr Court Lane is well used by residents for access to the shops and is often children travelling to and from Danescourt Primary school.

The lane is often flooded and very muddy because of blocked drains made worse by works associated with Welsh Water laying new services. 

Cleaning the drains did not solve this. Danescourt's Conservative Councillors pressed Cardiff Council's Highways team for an engineering solution to solve this long standing problem. 

As a result more drainage was added to help solve the problem.
