Mrs Gaener Davies

I first became involved with Cardiff West Conservative Association when I joined the Llandaff Young Conservatives in the early 1960s. It was not long before I became Secretary of the Branch, eventually Chairman and when I became too old to be a Young Conservative I was made President a position which I held until the Branch eventually closed.   I became Agent for the Llandaff ward acting on behalf of Alderman Sir Charles Hallinan,Alderman Sir Hugh Ferguson Jones, Councillor Beti Jones, Councillor Keith Flynn Councillor Julius Hermer and Councillor Joe Donovan all of whom at some time held position as Councillors for the Llandaff Ward.

My position as Agent and involvement with the Association continued until the election of Stephan Terlezski, when due to my ill health I withdrew into the background, I became involved again with Cardiff West during the 2010 General Election and by the November 2010 was elected Chairman, a position of which I am extremely proud. I have represented Candidates, both for the General Election 2015 and Local Elections over the years as Agent since I became Chairman in 2010.
